Our client contacted URETEK Baltic with a critical problem: The foundation of a pumping station and container building was subsiding unevenly. This problem could risk the city’s water supply system. If the subsiding continued, it might damage the main pipelines, affecting thousands of residents.
WORK PROCESS WITH URETEK TECHNOLOGY
URETEK Baltic conducted a detailed assessment. As a result, the team found that the soil beneath the foundation was weak, with a capacity of only 1.5 meters.
Our experts drilled holes around the building and injected URETEK geopolymer resin into the soil. This strengthened and stabilised the ground without causing major disruptions.
THE RESULT
URETEK Baltic team raised the pumping stations foundation by 15 cm, leveling it out and stopping any future subsidence.
This sustainable solution ensures the safety of the water supply and the long-term stability of the infrastructure.
