THE PROBLEM
It is important to check your house drainage systems and ensure they are built correctly. Incorrect and old drainage systems can cause significant damage and risks, threatening the integrity of the building and the people living there.
The customer’s home drainage system was built incorrectly and did not function properly. As a result, the movement of the groundwater started to subside the floors around the house. Our expert investigated, and it was determined that the subsoil beneath the floor slabs was moist. The building was a semi-detached house, and the same problem was noticed in the other half of the building.
To ensure the best outcome for the customer our expert agreed to do the job after the drainage system was repaired and the subsoil had dried.
WORK PROCESS WITH URETEK TECHNOLOGY
Before the work started, the sewer pipes were inspected, and the subsoil was checked to ensure a successful completion. Our URETEK Baltic technical team lifted the floor slabs from outside the house, and process monitoring and guidance were conducted inside the building.
THE RESULT
URETEK geopolymer resin was injected into the subsoil which lifted the floors to its original height.
The work was performed for both units of the building and completed in a day.
